Our Oregon Vacation!!!

We just returned from the most wonderful vacation to Oregon with my parents and the kids. It was definitely an adventure for us and the kids taking the train for over thirty hours to get there! We got to see some beautiful scenery and eat some amazing food but the highlight of the trip was getting to see my Aunt Yoly and Uncle Dan who I hadn't seen in 14 years!! It was great to finally introduce them to my family :)  It was also awesome to hang out with my cousin David, Ashley, and Cambria who we only see about once a year!  I took over 200 pictures but here are a few or the best moments we had while over there.  Enjoy!

Arriving at the LA train station.  We were all so excited about getting on the train!!
Grandpa and the babies waiting to board the train.
Mia and Grandma taking a nap.
Two of the rare moments Lincoln was enjoying the train ride.  We were so desperate to find something for him to do we gave  him a box of kleenex to destroy.  He had a great time and we had a few moments of peace.  And we got a great picture!

The view of the lake from our porch!! So peaceful.

The kids and Cambria enjoying the vacation house.
David, Cambria, and Lincoln.  Wow, it was such a treat to spend time with my cousin David and his beautiful family!!!!!
Grandma and the girls on the porch of our house.  What a beautiful view and an awesome porch!  The girls and Lincoln had so much fun playing out there.
Me and David on the boat on the lake waiting to be rescued.  Our boat died on us just a few feet from the dock!  On the bright side we got a slow tow to the rental dock and got to see a lake wedding! We still enjoyed the gorgeous scenery and were entertained by David's jokes :)  (more pictures to come of the girls' boat ride)

Even though Lincoln would have loved to be outside, the next best thing was looking out through and slobbering all over the beautiful glass doors at Aunt Yoly's .

It has been 2 years!

Well, it has been two years since I last posted on here and I thought it was about time to start this up again, for myself, my family, and close friends. It is hard to believe that Mia is two already but we just celebrated her second birthday last week! She is growing up to be an adorable and hilarious little lady. Dolly says that "Mia is the funny one in our family" and I have to agree. She keeps everyone looking at the bright side of things and definitely keeps us laughing. Dalia also turned four this month and we celebrated in Palm Springs with our family and her Sunday School friends and their parents (it was all her idea, by the way). She is developing to be and incredibly creative and confident girl, who may be too smart and crafty for her own good sometimes! She definitely keeps Leo and I on our toes and constantly reevaluating our parenting. Sophia is going to be 6 in November and growing up fast. She continues to be disciplined and organized

Funny story

Fun at Grandma Acosta's I love my daddy My baby is as big as me! Sisters Yesterday we were rushing to get ready for church. I was trying to get the girls dressed to I could go get ready. Sophia was rolling on the floor and just not paying attention to me. I asked her to go get her dress and come so I could put it on her. She brought me the hanger and laughed and was just not really into getting ready. I kind of snapped at her and told her to hurry up and stop messing around or else we were going to be late. She slowly turns to me and says, "Mom, you have to be patient with me." I couldn't help but laugh and apologize for rushing her.
